    As a first time writer and director, what are your expectations from yourself?
    I am new to playwriting, but not writing. I have written poetry before and my readers will know me as a poet. But when I wrote �Shakkar Ke Paanch Daane�, I had no expectations. I wanted to see what I directed, what an audience would like to see. I thought of my self as a member of the audience. My play is an experiment. Thus, I had no expectations. Writing and narration are very important. But a play goes beyond good writing, acting and direction. The content of the play should reach the audience. That is very important.

    �Shakkar Ke Paanch Daane� is fresh and something different. It moves away from usual Hindi plays that are filled with double meaning jokes. Even the humour becomes intolerable. Your play has no such meanings or humour. Is this something you kept in mind when directing t
