Japanese boy band
Kis-My-Ft2 (キスマイフットツー, Kisu Mai Futto Tsū, "Kiss My Foot Two") is a six-member Japanese boy band under Starto Entertainment. They are known for their performances on roller skates.[2][3]
The group is named after one letter of each member's initials and after "the anecdote that tap dancer Gregory Hines kissed the shoe of esteemed Sammy Davis Jr..[4]
The group was formed in 26 July when they were trainees (Johnny's Jr.)[5] and debuted on 10 August [6]
The members of this group are Kento Senga, Toshiya Miyata, Wataru Yokoo, Taisuke Fujigaya, Yuta Tamamori and Takashi Nikaido.[7] They have been active with seven members including Hiromitsu Kitayama since their debut, but since Kitayama left the group in August , they are currently active with six members.[8]
In January , Kis-My-Ft2 moved from label Avex Trax to MENT Recording. MENT Recording was a newly established joint label between Avex Entertainment and Johnny & Associates. Other Johnny's group under Avex Trax, Snow Man, moved to MENT Recording as well.[9][10]

Taisuke Fujigaya (藤ヶ谷太輔, Fujigaya Taisuke, born June 25, ) is a Japanese singer, actor, and radio personality.[1] He is a member of boy band Kis-My-Ft2 under Starto Entertainment. His nicknames are Taipy, Gaya-san, and Gaya.[2]
In addition to working as an actor alongside his boy band activities in Kis-My-Ft2, he has been a radio personality of "Peaceful days of Taisuke Fujigaya (藤ヶ谷太輔 Peaceful Days)" since [3] and the main host of the TV talk show "A-Studio" with Shōfukutei Tsurube II since [4]

History
[edit]When Fujigaya was 11 years old, his aunt secretly sent his resume to Johnny & Associates for an audition.[6] He was initially unsuccessful in the audition, but when he was leaving, he did not know where to return his number tag, so he spoke to an elderly man nearby, who turned out to be the president, Johnny Kitagawa.[7] On Kitagawa's decision, Fujigaya passed the audition and joined Johnny & Associates in [7][8][9] Also in the audition were Kazuya Kamenashi and Yuichi Nakamaru, who later became members of KAT-TUN, Takahisa Masuda, who became a mem
