Great Khali is a former powerlifter, actor, and professional wrestler from India. Dalip Singh Rana is the real name of Great Khali. He won Mr. India in 1995 and 1996. Currently, he is contracted to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for the SmackDown brand. He was a police officer in the Punjab state police before starting his career as a professional wrestler.
Due to his well-known WWE accomplishments, Dalip Singh became an Indian national hero. He became one of the most well-known sports figures and a legend in India after winning the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007. In 2021, Khali was honored by WWE by being welcomed into the WWE Hall of Fame.
In 2000, he debuted in professional wrestling. He has starred in multiple TV shows, two Bollywood films, and four Hollywood movies. In 2015, he founded Continental Wrestling Entertainment, the biggest professional wrestling promotion in India, and he serves as its head coach.

Nigerian artist Kahli Abdu and production duo VHS Safari first began collaborating in the depths of a long Brooklyn winter, but their dreamy blend of afrobeat and hip-hop has all the buoyancy and positive vibes of rolling down the window on the first hot day of spring.
They stopped by the Converse Rubber Tracks studios in Brooklyn to record new material in preparation for an upcoming EP. Vocalist Kahli Abdu took a few minutes to answer some few questions about his life, art, and ambitious future plans.
How did you first hear about Converse Rubber Tracks?
I heard about you guys when Basement Batman came here to record.
Did you experience any a-ha moments in the studio while recording today?
Several. That Moog is serious! I had 8 beat ideas when I was messing with that. I need that.
Give us the elevator pitch of your biography.
I come from Nigeria to continue where Fela Kuti left off. I didn’t know whether or not I could really do it until I started playing with VHS Safari. We’re on our way to play at the Kuti’s shrine in Lagos, Nigeria in a few months!
