    Yoo Ah-in, born Uhm Hong-sik on October 6, 1986, in Nam-gu, Daegu, South Korea, is a prominent South Korean actor, creative director, and art gallery owner. He is 1.79 meters tall and represented by StarK and United Artists Agency.

    Yoo Ah-in acting career began in 2003 with a TV commercial. He later appeared in the teen drama "Sharp," which helped him gain popularity. His notable roles include leading parts in the films "Punch" (2011), "Secret Affair" (2014), "Veteran" (2015), "The Throne" (2015), and the television series "Six Flying Dragons" (2015–2016). His role in the film "Burning" (2018) earned him international acclaim, making him the only Asian actor featured in The New York Times' "The Best Actors of 2018."

    In addition to acting, Yoo Ah-in is known for his social activism. He established the Newkids Yoo Ah In Charity Fund in 2015 to support students in residential care and has been involved in various relief efforts, including aiding victims of the Sewol Ferry disaster.
